Make a plan

An emergency plan is a plan that helps you and your family respond quickly and properly.

You do not have to come up with a plan on your own. Discuss with your neighbours, friends or association how you can help each other in an emergency situation.

 In an emergency, you want your pets to be safe. Be sure to include them in your plan.

An emergency situation may also occur in the workplace. Talk about it with your employees or employer to find out how best to prepare.

People who need additional help are often also more vulnerable in emergency situations. Good preparation is therefore all the more important.
